About the Event

Are walks stressful? If so Our Dog Training Masterclass in Lead Walking is just what you need! We will show you how to train your dog so that it walks calmly beside you on a lead and both of you enjoy the experience!

Come and learn lots of top tips and techniques for achieving a confident walk where you and your dog walk together in a calm and relaxed way.

We have a variety of games such as 'breadcrumbs 'drunk walking' and 'figure of 8'

All done in positive fun learning environment using treats as rewards.

Why do this class?

Your will learn the techniques that dog trainers use to train dogs to walk nicely on the lead

Your dog will enjoy walks more and you will start to notice they look up at you more and focus on your next instruction.

Who is this not suitable for?

Dog that will not accept treats from their owner (because the training is reward based)

Dogs that bark at other dogs, passers by or react to anything you would find in a public group environment (kids playing football)

Not suitable for aggressive or snappy dogs - they will be more suited to a 1-2-1 as this will be less stressful for them

Dogs that are fearful of others

Please do not book this class if you have any of the above as it spoils the enjoyment for others and you will be asked to leave

What you must bring :

Poo bags,

lots of treats both standard treats and high-value treats, an easy-access bag for the treats such as a bum bag

A Short lead, extendable leads will be thrown in the bin! We will explain why later......

We will give you all the information at the end in an A4 Presentation folder.

P.S This masterclass will take place outdoors so be prepared for all weather (coats, wellies)
